We've raised $17M to get Nous into every household that's had enough of life admin

Our new funding will bring Nous to more households, support international expansion and help our agent take on more life admin.

Nous has raised $17M to free every household from life admin, backed by Heartcore Capital and Mosaic Ventures.

Today, we're delighted to announce that we've raised $17M in new funding to bring Nous to even more households, expand internationally and roll out new features.

The new funding comes from Heartcore Capital and our existing seed investor, Mosaic Ventures, with participation from Chalfen Ventures, Joyance Partners and Bain Future Back Ventures.

Nous is a household AI agent that helps families reduce the life admin burden and save money on their routine spending.

Nearly 250,000 UK households now rely on us to make their lives simpler, cheaper and fairer.

Every minute, another household hands responsibility for managing their everyday spending to our AI agent.

Altogether, Nous now manages more than $900M of household spending across the UK, covering services like energy, broadband, mobile and car insurance.

Offloading the boring bits

Our agent makes decisions and takes action on households’ behalf, rather than simply providing recommendations or sending reminders. We save a typical household £734 across their bills, as well as countless hours of time and stress.

Households who hand over their admin to Nous can genuinely outsource the mental load of managing bills and keeping on top of every task. Nous lifts the burden – instead of adding another headache.

Nous finds cheaper deals, carries out the work of switching providers, cancels subscriptions, fills out forms, and spots dodgy contract terms or pricey renewal traps. Our agent also manages family calendars, reminds you of deadlines, finds local tradespeople, and books appointments.

What comes next

We're using this investment to get Nous into every household that's had enough of life admin.

That means broadening the range of services our agent can manage, taking even more of the mental load away from busy people and saving them greater sums of money.

Over the coming year, we're planning to move into more regulated activities, including a broader insurance remit and additional financial services.

We'll also be building new capabilities for managing everyday chores, and expanding internationally to bring Nous to households beyond the UK.

Backing the next generation of consumer AI

We're delighted to have the backing of investors who share our belief in the enormous potential of household AI agents.

Max Niederhofer, General Partner at Heartcore Capital, said: "Personal agents will transform the way we make household purchasing decisions and thus transform the economy in ways that benefit the end consumer. We're deeply excited by the work that Greg and the Nous team are doing at the frontier of personal agents and are thrilled to be backing them as they build a next-gen platform."

Toby Coppel, General Partner at Mosaic Ventures, said: "We backed Nous at seed, and in eighteen months Greg and the team have gone from beta to a quarter of a million households handing over real spending decisions, with a new home joining every minute. What stands out isn't the growth rate alone but what sits behind it: people are trusting an agent to act for them, not just advise them, because it is built to be safe and doesn't rely on advertising. That is the shape we think consumer AI will take, and we're delighted to back Nous as it moves into more regulated categories and beyond the UK."

We're also fortunate to have backing from leading founders and entrepreneurs including Tom Blomfield (GoCardless and Monzo); Brent Hoberman (Founders Factory, lastminute.com and Made.com); Doug Monro (Adzuna); Richard Moross (MOO); Andrew Brookes, Angie Ma and Marc Warner (Faculty.ai); James Meekings (Funding Circle); Eamon Jubbawy and Husayn Kassai (Onfido); Will Dean (Tough Mudder); and Daniel Hegarty (Habito).

Life after admin

We believe we’re at the start of a monumental shift in how households tackle the tedious and stressful tasks that take up so much of their energy.

And we’re ambitious about the role we’re going to play in this.

Our mission is simple but significant – to make life simpler, fairer and cheaper for every household that’s had enough of admin.
